Are there any big tournaments coming up in Louisville KY?

I am curious if anyone knows if there are any good tournaments coming up in Louisville?

I missed the Derby, and really regret it.

Just curious how the pool scene is in Louisville these days?

I know that the Bank Shot holds 4 tournaments a week (banks on Monday, 9 ball on tuesday, 8 ball on Wednesday, and 1 pocket on Thursday), but I was thinking that pool might be really slow these days (now that it is getting warm out).

Does anyone know of any good bar tournaments around Louisville?

Some of you might remember that I already asked this question awhile back, so please do not grill me for asking again.

I thought that maybe some of you might know about some events that I have not learned about yet.

Is the pool scene in Louisville very good these days?

Just curious what I might be missing out on.

Bump. Any Louisville locals on here that can fill me in on what is going on around town? Any weekly tournaments with decent turnouts these days? Any big tournaments coming up? Thanks.
 
Im from louisville and it really depends on if you play leagues or not. Most of the tournaments that go on the weekends are for league players with a handicapp. Do you have a handicapp? If you do, i run a big tournament every year and its coming up here in three weeks. Brings in alot of league players and draws really good money too.its one of the biggest tournaments in louisville
 
I am not a league player. I played on the APA back in 2001. Was a 6 in 8 ball and a 7 in 9 ball, but I assume those rankings would not count any more after all these years, lol. So if I am an unknown player, then I assume that I would have to play at a high handicap? Not really interested in leagues. I always thought they were too boring to sit through. I played in a BCA league for a short time back in like 2006, and it was a round robin format (I think that is what they call it when you just play 1 game, and then the next player plays a game against someone else and so on). I really did not like that league either (with only being able to play 1 game). Thanks.
