The tradition of breaking cue sticks after key moments in a match is being lost.

Are there any pros strong enough to break a carbon cue with their bare hands?

I have never known about this alleged "tradition", could you please expand on this with examples with something other than a couple of known temper prone players??

Tradition? I know of one Earl the Pearl broken cue and one Mike the Mouth broken cue. Hardly a "tradition".

Why would someone break their Cue for no reason?

Unless like child was have temper tantrum, if so this is reason that person should be barred from playing. Punish bad behavior.
