Are there any tip people in Asheville, NC area?

Hi all,

Is there anyone here aware of a local to Asheville, NC area that does tip replacements?
 
I think they used to do some at Playworld on Merrimon but I think they are gone. Aren't there a couple places down on Hendersonville Rd???

I haven't found any shops. There are a couple pool halls but only billiards store is apbilliards. I haven't asked them yet but I wasn't impressed when I visited their shop. I was hoping there might be someone local.
 
I played at a pretty good sized pool hall on Hendersonville Rd if it is still there I'd call or go in and ask them. City Billiards downtown might know but they are not what I call a pool hall. I get down there quite often, love the LAAF!
Try the pool halls or contact the local APA league they must know.
 
I will ask APA. Btw I hear City Billiards is closing. I prefer fat catz personally. Thanks.
 
Not sure if you can wait or not but the Smokey Mountain Shoot Out will be in Waynesville NC next month. It will be someone there to do the work for you. Good luck

That's the place I was thinking of, it's on the right side of the road when your heading south. Do you know if Kenny W hangs out there?

Sorry I just moved to the area last year and just started going to the halls. I have joined the APA league but only weekend currently. I hope to get to know more people here.
 
Not sure if you found someone yet.
David does cue repair but David not near you. He's over
in High Point NC, but might know someone closer to you.
David also goes to a lot of pool tournaments to do repairs, sales, etc.
I'll pm you with more info.
