My wife and I are the same I dont care what she buys she doesnt care what I buy. If we have the money we buy whatever I dont care if its a new car or a pool cue. She gives me a heads up on what she is buying and I do the same with her. We just let each other know just in case the other had something else planned. We do not beg each other. Hell the only reason we have not bought a house yet is because we can not find one (within our price range) with room enough for a pool table and one that has a big kitchen (she loves cooking) Sure we could buy a 600k home but then we wouldnt be able to buy what we want. We dont want to be house poor. Unfortunaltey I live in Northern va where a one level rambler with 3 bedrooms goes for 350k-400k. I think its way too much for such a small house. Man I hope the market drops soon!

Truth of the matter is, it would be hard to find a townhouse in Ashburn for less than $300,000. I got lucky. I paid $64,000 for my first house in Leesburg and sold it three years later for $104,000. I put that down on one for $170,000. Now it is worth $500,000+. Go figure man.

My wife and I have a deal. You want something that cost more than $300, we talk about it. I didn't get any crap about the pool table, however, high dollar cues is another thing all together. I didn't run into a problem until I had 15 of em.

Before we got married we had an agreement. We were not getting married so we could make each other miserable for the rest of our lifes. It has worked for 30 years. She is my best friend, however, I do know why they have two pairs of lips. :D

hi Jeff,
Right at this moment on MSNBC they were talking about a CEO who spent $241,000 on company`s credit card in a gentleman`s club in NYwhile celebrating a buisiness deal. Some one was saying it deprives( playing field is not leveled) the women salesman of buisiness deals because some women do not like to do the buisiness deals in the enviroment of Naked women, alcohol etc..

Vagabond, my friend, I'm not sure what you're trying to convey here. One thing I thought about in your post is that a gentlemen's club has as their main product, women. So I'm wondering just who is in charge there???

Jeff Livingston

CEO's

CEO's go bananas anymore trying to get their golden parachutes.
Like David Wittig, former CEO for Westar Energy here in
Kansas spent $6 million of company's money decorating
his house in Topeka, including a $1,500 toilet paper dispenser.
