SBE Drawing - Are you a lucky winner too?
If you went to the SBE this year, you probably remember the drawing in the lobby for a gift certificate from Dicks Sporting Goods. It turns out I'm the lucky winner of free airline tickets and a hotel stay if I go to Atlantic City to attend a pitch for a time share (or something like that). Wow
! I asked for details when they called with the fantastic news, but they'll tell you only so much over the phone. I've been nabbed by something that seems similar, a drawing at the mall for a free car. I signed up for the giveaway, didn't buy the product, and had the practically unusable freebees practically thrown at me after my final no. I'm not inclined to make the trek to AC. I suspected this when the guy at the table gave me the card, but I signed up anyway just to see.
