I didn't see Fast Lenny and the OTR crew at the DCT event this weekend. Were they on vacation again?:smile:

I am curious who won the "C" Players Pot of if there were any "C" Players who took advantage of the staggered entree fees?
There was a side pot for b/c players only and I got in it but did not finish high enough to cash in it.
Dennis and Jimmy. Thank you for putting on such a great event. It ran really smooth and was very enjoyable. A special thanks to Jimmy for keeping me in stiches and making me laugh so hard my cheeks hurt.

Over all I had my best DCT event ever. I won two matches and lost two matches. It was a great experience and I look forward to next month to compete again.

There was a total of 49 players in the event, and even though I didn't recognize everyone there, I think there were several that were in the "C" category based upon their Arizona rating (7 and below). They showed their heart, and their genuine interest in improving their game. Kudos to them!:thumbup:

I had a lot of fun playing and was glad to knock off some really tough players. Streaming was also fun as well, but it took a lot out of me. Playing for 14+ hours and streaming was too much and you could see that in my 1 out of the money defeat to Brett Huth. I'm glad I won the B/C sidepot, $130 was pretty nice after the long weekend.

Oh well...that is what happens when you put your faith in people to cover for you....
While I was on my way to the tournament, my cover called me and told me he might not be able to cover me Sunday.....I decided that since I am already on my way I will play anyway just for the heck of it since I did not get to play much of anything for pretty much the second half of the year last year.
Of course you know the rest of the story....I win all my matches on Saturday and when I call him on the way home he said.........."sorry"....and of course nobody else was available on short notice.
Of course with the new job I have I doubt I will be able to play many (if any) of the DCT tournaments for at least the next 6-8 months since I will be required to work weekends.
Jerry......All I ask in the write up is to make sure my name is mentioned in the write up somewhere so Coo Coo for Coco Puffs can frame it so he has reference of me getting "press"............That should cover him for the rest of the year so he can STFU!!!!
Now I ask you Mr Coco Puffs........when will I ever see your name mentioned anywhere? ............I am guessing never.
Heck I even set a personal record running out 3 consecutive racks of 8-ball to finish off 1 match.......I will take that since I pretty much never play 8-ball.
