You're asking too much to expect the tournament organizers to make exceptions to the 7 and under bracket just because you want to play.

If I recall correctly, they do have open tournaments 3 nights or so a week, on alternate evenings. You just happened to be there on the wrong night.

Not really, I wasn't forcing myself on them. I just mentioned that spot to see if I could play. I wasn't arguing with them, I just thought the rating system was stupid. The guy who rated me was just as good if not better than I was but he was playing in the tournament......it was just ridiculus to me. Oh and I am well aware of the other tournaments throughout the week. I just love to play. No matter win or lose. Well I hope this helps you understand a bit more. Thanks

I am leaving the house at 4:30 am to go to o"hare flight leaves at 7:30 so ill be there around 11:00 see ya there

OH and watch out for this kid Jeff.....Man this kid moves like a ghost.


I would honestly say that he plays about my speed if not better and I'm in the 19 and unders. I honestly do like my chances to go pretty far so this kid can really move the rock. Oh and I saw Landon and the other favorites in the 14 and unders and I would say Jeff plays better than them all. Maybe I could be wrong but you guys have a Dark horse in the Running. Oh and I know Jeff probably thinks I suck and all but I only got 2 games in and my hands were so sweaty that I couldn't even use an open hand bridge. Well anyway, he'll have plenty of time to see me play.

Junior Update.....

Just got through with the first day last night. I won my first two and lost ot one of the Rankin Brothers. I really didn't have a chance. He was getting some rolls and playing good so I don't know if I could have beat him that night. I kept making dry breaks. And it was pretty much down hill. Justin had his first decent test last night with a tall blond kid that plays really good himself. I think he was Sponsered by McDaniel cues. Well he had the shirt on anyway. I think playing Justin rattled him a bit and he shook Justin as well. They were both doggin balls they normally don't dog. Well anyway I think Justin won 9-5. But it was the best match of the night. Well I play again tonight at 7pm. I need to win quite a few to place. But I'm confident. I think I'll have to win about 4-5 matches to get 4th. well wish me luck. Oh and I think Jeff one his first few but not too sure on how he's doing now. I'll get back to you guys.
