Play in two good tourmanents then stay in Hot Springs for the "Racing Festival of the South" @ Oaklawn Race Track. Derby week starts the 3rd, with the running of the Arkansas Derby on the 11th.

Will you please post results once the tournaments are done? I would love to come to them myself, but can't. I miss Derby week, although usually it is later in the month, isn't it?

I don't think there was any promotion of these tournements except what I posted here and on southerbilliards.com. It was two days of pretty good pool on verry different equipment. There were only 10 or 15 who played both days.

I think the Arkansas Derby has been moved up a few weeks but it has allways preceded the Triple Crown by at least a couple of weeks.
