Does anybody have an opinion concerning the work of Arnot Wadsworth? Particualarly his jump/break cues.
Thanks in advance for any feed back.

I have been told, by people living in Florida, that Arnot cues are not great quality and dealing with him is not a pleasant experience.

Although I believe it to be from a very good source, my information is second hand, so please take it with a grain of salt.

I don't know about his JB cues but the cues I have seen of his were seriously lacking in the quality deprtment, IMO. I am extremely biased having had many run-ins with him on other NG's. The few cues I have seen did have a decent hit though.

I don't believe that his JB cues perform anywhere near the Bunjee or the Sledgehammer, Mace, Gilbert or Omen though.

Before I ordered from Arnot Wadsworth, I simply emailed him a question and to my surprise, he called me in 5 minutes from Florida. As I spoke to him, he was very professional and that's when I decided to order his cue. I also found his website to be very informative. About the cue though, I am still waiting to receive mine. If you want, I'll let you know about it in a week.

In my experience the quality is very good value for money since there are a range of cues available for different budgets. I have been very happy with his cues and I give them alot of heavy play and never have had any problems in the past 4 years.

All the people I know who own Arnot cues say the same thing that Arnot cues are very solid hitting. The inlay work is very good on the upper end cues with a strong attention to detail. Most of his cues are not gaudy or pretentious looking just extremely reliable and solid hitting and that is the most important aspect for me. If you want more info visit the web site and also the testamonials. Arnot backs up his work and appears to be very responsive to customers. Good luck!

I have three Arnot cues (a jump-break with a 10" 'extension', a Road Player and my daily playing cue). I've had these cues for 6 years and they still look, feel and play great. I'm VERY satisfied with the quality of Arnot's cues and his professionalism, both as a cuemaker and an individual. I've let people locally (Tampa) see and play with my cues and a number of them have gone on to buy more than one Arnot cue from him. They are also VERY happy with their cues.
I'm not saying that every cue he has ever made is flawless, because I haven't seen every cue that he has ever made, but I've never encountered any of his work which didn't pass close inspection.
He has a good money back guarantee and is (to my knowledge anyway) the only cuemaker that guarantees his shafts too. He has a toll Free number and is easy to talk to, even if you decide to go with a different cuemaker.... IMO

i have played with and purchased 2 of arnot cues and they play great look good have solid hit with his t3 shaft he is very easy to deal with will talk to you on phone or internet
have also been to his shop personaly very nice man recomend his cues highly

Wow. Three "lurkers" make their first posts ever defending Arnot cues.

He must make a good stick...

Smorg has been an Arnot fan for a while. I have never seen one of his cues, so I'm neutral.

I don't think buddha162 was referring to me. I noticed that three of the posters are making their first time posts here, also. One appears to be a current Arnot cue owner. One is 'awaiting' delivery of an Arnot cue. And the third is a young friend of mine, who received a computer as gift after his recent marriage. I sent him some links to different websites (including AzBilliards) and since he has bought two cues from Arnot, he decided to jump on in with his opinion on this subject. Welcome aboard Justin..... And that ladies and gentlemen is what this board is about.

I personally would never do business with Arnot as he would not with me. I have emailed him to compliment him on his website and his list of testimonials before. Good to see that there are real people, besides Smorg :-), who have had good experiences with him.

Go consumer reports! I mean AZ Billiards.......
