Arthritis in my neck at age 36! Thanks alot Billiards

You're not alone, try tart cherry juice. Regular use will result in significant reduction of pain & stiffness associated with it and lasts long term with continual use.

I've played this game for most of my life since I was old enough to reach over a table & play more hours a week than most people spend at their jobs. It hit me in my early 30's & I started using tart cherry juice & made an adjustment to my stance bringing me more upright. It works, very well

A dangerous game!

I'm not a bit surprised. Pool has caused all kinds of aliments and I know a back pain I had a year ago was caused by my obsession with improving my break speed. I have had cramps in the back of my thighs and calves from 8 hour pool matches with buddies. Stress is the big one. It's caused some to go half nuts and turned them into chronic liars and excuse makers full of envy and jealousy. Others have went broke, been divorced, shot, stabbed, beat up, broken friendships, etc. I know I left something out! LOL

The good news is none of that is a reason to quit shooting pool, so push through it and get better!

Don't overthink all that medical stuff, everyone is different. As info I had an MRI of my cervical spine and the radiology report was scary (serve bi-material stenosis C2 thru C7). Since I retired in the last 2 1/2 years I was shooting/breaking on average 5 hours each day, 7 days per week. A surgeon at the Cleveland Clinic told me to stop reading the report and relax. He further stated that 90% of the folks in my age group have similar spine conditions and many don't know it. Good luck, stay positive and kept active. Regards
