Human remains … Besides having “stones” made and having them inlaid . What would be some creative ways to have some ashes within the cue building process ? I’m sure someone has had this idea .

If you have seen cremated remains they do include chunks of bone as well as ash. I brought my brother home and when he went through the airline scanner a young attendant questioned what was in the box, another a bit older stepped in quickly. My brother probably laughed, he would of thought it was hilarious!

They can make stones, or I'd imagine you could do some type of epoxy. I'm not a cue maker but I'd think something could be done.

Sadly I have been battling with this idea the past couple of weeks. My sister had some of my father’s ashes put into a marble which was nice.

For me the cue I was building for a special person in my life was almost done when she passed away. I could wait and add it to the cue or finish it to honor her now. I was thinking about cutting groove under the wrap and filling it with ashes and epoxy. Or maybe put some epoxy under the bumper somehow.

I decided to just finish the cue as it was intended for her so it would be done. If I get any ashes I will either add them under the bumper into some kind of void or I maybe just create something stand alone to go with the cue on display. I’ll never sell the cue so I have time to figure it out.

If you are building it and want the ashes visible you could swirl it into epoxy to make a ring or rings or inlays if you can do those.

Dennis Diekman did it with Hemp so
Why not

You could consider using epoxy. I just started messing with this and seems it could work. You could even add some color if you wanted.

I started the following thread but won't have time for a few more weeks to get back to it.

Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure I posted in your thread.
If you can define what you want to accomplish, I'm pretty sure you can do it.

I believe you did also, thanks. Regarding R&D, I have the next few steps outlined in my head, I just need to get there, and that won't happen for a few more weeks (my Jeep (only vehicle) is tore down in the garage getting a rebuild, I just bought a small sailboat, I'm playing in two tournaments this weekend, and I should be starting a new job next week - plate's pretty full so I have to prioritize :))
