According to BD, Asians win 18 of 49 world pool tournaments with 14 won by Philippines, next was the Americans with 15, 3rd the Europians with 14, Germany 10, Canada 2. Why is Germany not listed as Europians?. Out of $1,456,034 total monies, Asians again tops with $717,484 hauls, with Bata took home a total of $572,484. I just read it so I cannot paste. Besides I don't know if it's allowed to copy and paste from other sources.

What's interesting is, the BD Index only lists events in the US. There are a number of problems with having a global index since the vast majority of players that compete in their respective nations will not travel overseas so any region that has the greatest number of events will have influence over this statistic.

I am a bit curious as to what catagory the UK falls under since they usually distinguish themselves from the Europeans.
