Johnny Archer just posted that Marietta Billiard Club is going nonsmoking (will allow it in The Scorpion Room, which is connected)! Maybe not a big deal to some of you, but this is huge for this area! Hallelujah!
The Indy is terrible, and I can't set foot in The Elbow Room. East Point Corner Tavern was ok last night, smokewise (and I won).I'd like to see Mr. Cues II do the same thing but it is a lot better than it used to be since the vaping craze got started.

then last night not enough folks were vaping because by 8 pm the air was thick with smoke, foggy like, and the a/c must have been broken because it was hot and "stuffy" in there......couldn't take a deep breath! :sorry:
Down here in Arizona, we have a couple halls that have built/set aside areas for us smokers.
Both Pockets in Tucson, AZ, and BullShooters in Phoenix, AZ, have a "smokers section."
Seems to work for everyone involved.
Really bad in the back by the 9 footers and the tables by the snooker table!Yeah sometimes it's bad but overall it seems a little better to me. At least on Thursdays anyway. All you one pocket guys must smoke too much!
That would be nice but in the case of Mr. Cues, it would need a major renovation unless they just walled off some tables into like a private room. Maybe plexi-glass like the airport smoking aquariums would work.
I don't really mind the smoke when I'm there. It's when I leave and I reek like an old ashtray that it bothers me.
