I just received my first shipment of Black Dot shaft partial. I can match them to any type of cue. PM for pricing.

Sweet, I've got one of the old originals that needs a refinish. I'll get with you on it next week for the details.

Meucci Cues

You should stay really busy replacing those inferior ferrels that they use, (Unless they have upgraded to a better material over the years). I think that I had at least 5 cracked Meucci ferrils over the years until I decided to start spending a little more money for a better quality cue.

Depending on the age of your cue, Meucci used a PVC, through ferrule with a 3/8 inch tenon. They were light, soft, low deflection ferrules. That thin wall also had a tendency to crack over time.

They now use a capped ferrule made from a "secret" material.

It's good to know that they made some improvements over the years. Old impressions die hard, so I don't think that I will be using Meucci for a while. Fortunately for you, the more problems that people have with them, the more work you will have.

Ryan, I agree with the guy above. YOu must be some kind of insane man to take on this business. But I'm awfully glad that you are. I'll have a couple coming your way.

i would say even if your meucci needs warranty work.. dont send it back to meucci.. you would be better off paying ryan to fix it..

meucci has a bad reputation for fixing warranty work.. i found this out first hand..

Ryan does excellent work.. he is worth the money!

Just got my Meucci Originals cue back from Ryan for refinish and I can't tell you how happy I am with the job he did. 1st class customer service and communication and the cue looks like it just came off the production line. Well probably better than it did when it was new. Would recommend him to anyone looking for cue work. Thanks again.
