Attention table mechanics...

At my local room, there are a couple of tables (9 footers) that have recently been re-clothed with Simonis 860.
After about two months, the cloth is so loose, that you can literally pick it up by the wrinkles, and there are wrinkles at every pocket.
Now, I don't want to insult the guy who installed the cloth, well, because he's my cousin. BUT I feel he didn't pull the cloth tight enough upon installation. And the table plays painfully slow.
Now, how tight should this cloth be pulled when installing, or when re-tightening?
I think I am going to tackle the "re-do" myself. I have a good working knowlege of how the table goes together, and having it play properly, but I'm not sure of how tight to pull the cloth.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

lol. there is not a set tension. I have seen installers that pull it as tight as they can, putting all they have into it. If you want it to play real fast then you should pull it as tight as you can. It has already been pre stretched on the table so just pull it as tight as you can and staple it back down. Just make sure you pull evenly all the way around to avoid ball drift

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll give the cloth a good tightening up. I love a table that plays lightning fast.

the tighter you pull simonis the faster it plays...
