Attic Renovation Pics!

Yes, I have a 9' diamond pro on order....will be the focal point of the room. Should be here in about 3 weeks!

Looks really nice!

I couldn't see an electrical box in the ceiling for a table light. Did I miss something?
 
The electrical box is there, although I may have not captured it in a picture. Its in between the two canned lights. I think you can see it in picture 1359. I will start painting by mid week and should have better pictures when the mess is cleared.

Nice house

I like the details throughout with the modelings and trim. I am guessing that you continued it through the remainer of the home.

Interesting that you Island is a different color. I like the contrast but did not notice it anywhere else. The cabinets were made for the laundry room and island by a different maker I am guessing?

Love the porches with the "beadboard ceilings".

Hope you everything goes well with the finishing.

Your Billiards Parlor looks great so far. Plenty of room. Any plans for the room besides the table yet?

How hard will it be to get the table up there?

Thanks for the kind words about the house. My wife loves crown molding and wainscoting and decided it was a must when this house was built. The different color island in the kitchen was again her idea, and I was a bit skeptical at first but now love it. All the cabinets in the house were made by the same company, although the old rustic look of the kitchen was custom painted. The main theme for the room is billiards, although Im planning on Hanging a Plasma TV on the raised floor along with some lounge chairs. A bar will be located behind the stairs as well. I will have a dedicated HTPC to handle all my sound/video/internet. Getting the table up there will be challenging, although I was assured by Diamond that the Pro model completely dissasembles. Hopefully everything works out...or else I will have to rent a crane like I did for getting the drywall up and boom it through the window.

My house is located in between Cary and Apex in North Carolina. The house was finished in April of this year. I should have done the Attic when the house was being built but Im stubborn and decided to tackle this project myself.

Well, my attic is almost finished :-) I would say about 98% complete. The only thing left is some small carpet work...and ofcourse the table.
