Anything within a couple of hours is good, just wanting to play competitively, without gambling... And all my buddies are out of town.

Triple 9s (Elkridge/Jessup area) has a good tourney every Saturday. Short races, 8 ball on winners, 9 ball on losers. Races to 3 both sides... 9 foot Brunswick Century Tables. 20 dollar entry fee. Short races make it a coin toss, but it's a good tourney. Long waits in the first round though. They have been getting over 40 players for this thing each week. Makes it a good payout. Pays down the 5th place. Starts at 7:30, gotta be there at 6:30 for signups.
