I just noticed on the Sportsnet website that the World Pool Masters will begin airing on Aug 2nd and the everyone in western Canada will get to see it on Aug 3rd.

This is great because I've been bummed out about not seeing the IPT King of the Hill.

So to all of you who got to watch the IPT but not the WPM :P j/k. I hope all of you have access to this too some way some how.

I will definitley have my DVD recorder happening. I've already got the 2003,2004 and 2005(TV Highlight) WPM in my collection. It's a great tourney because the high level of talent of the 16 players chosen.

Your welcome, this is the tournament I look forward too every year because of the level of talent, and we also get to see every match in the tourney. I can't wait!!!!
 
I can't wait for this, I've been watching the WPM on sportsnet for many years now and am always impressed with the production quality matchroom sport brings. Makes all those ESPN broadcast look like the crap that they are, it will also help satisfy my pool craving with the WPC dates set for later into the year this year.

It's great that we get to see every match, for a total of 15 matches.
It's about 45 minutes of pool,once commercials are deleted per match.
The picture quality and production in general is excellent.

The only drawback is that some racks are missed within the sets,so complete matches aren't shown.In the UK, I think they show it totally uncut with no racks missed,like they do with the WPC every year.I have two complete UK sets from 2004 and 2005 of the WPC and they are awesome.

I'm not complaining however,because it seems up here in Canada they show more pool than down in the USA,especially in Eastern Canada.
