I believe I have the date right, but its the Fast Eddie's tour thats at the end of the month @ College Station. I'm just trying to see if anyone wants to ride up there and share a room to cut costs. I played in my first one this weekend at Embassy Oaks and I'm hooked. I'll drive if you want, its not too far.

PM me if you're interested in going.

Let me talk to the old lady, and maybe you could ride up with us. I don't know if I can get her to let me play though! LOL

How did you do? I went 2 and out, same thing I have done in the last 2 that I played in. I am getting better though and I hope to win a match next go round.

Did you get to watch Jeremy Jones or Vivian Villereal play?

You should have gotten with Paul and come over and talked to me and Kevin dude!

I wanted to finally get to meet you.

My wife played in it for the first time on the Women's side, and she did great!! Actually better than me!

OMG I was so nervous. I didn't play as nearly as well as I normally play. I'm gonna have to adjust to tournaments. I went 2 and out as well. First match was pretty good, 2nd not so much.

I came back on Sunday to watch everyone play. I got to see Jeremy Jones who seems like a really cool dude, and Charlie Bryant, which was a trip for me cus he's one of the few players whom I know of. The whole experience totally reaffirmed my love for pool. Even though I had an embarassing showing (something I don't plan on repeating ever again) I learned alot just from watching people and I intend on bringing the pain now that my first tourney butterflies are gone.

First day I was, I think, the only one wearing slacks and a nice shirt. I definitely stood out. Second day I was planted firmly in between the middle tables and the 4 that the top guys were playing on.

2 weeks of furious practice and preparation will begin tonight though! Hope I can get with ya for College Station.

Inzombiac, like Scott said you should have found us and come by and said hi and hung out. This was only my second Fast Eddies event and I was still very nervous for some reason and totally off my game as well so I guess it's somewhat normal. I somehow managed to get into the money but between the back problems and the nerves I never could get loosened up and played real tense and tentative and kept dogging it, especially against Hillbilly and Chen. It was embarrassing. Hopefully the nerves get better with each event. I am not positive yet if I will play in College Station (probably will) but shoot me a PM and let me know if you want to meet up and practice some before then.

Did you get to Watch Vivian Villereal play? I watched Danny Lee stomp her! He is such a nice guy, and it was also good to see that a Pro can be beat. I wish someone would have showed JJ he can be beat. LOL

We hung out mostly with some people from Corpus, and Poolplaya9. We also hung out with Amanda, she put my wife out of the woman's tourny! LOL

I had a blast!

Oh a little tip! Don't practice for the next two weeks, just go out and play some hard matches for the next two weeks. Maybe play in some local tourny's the next two weeks. It will help calm the nerves, and it is so close for the next tourny that you really don't have a lot of time to throw new tools into your head for the tourny. That is why I haven't been practicing the masses that Stones showed us the other night.

I will wait until next month to put new weapons into my tool box. LOL

Anyway dude, I am glad you caught the bug, and don't worry I have gone two and out in all 3 that I have played in. My nerves are getting a lot better, and I am playing better. It just depends on who you draw, so just have fun, and then it will come easy!

My friend went 2 and out for an entire year before he placed in the money! LOL

Anyway I got to get some work done. Give me a call or PM me if you want to.

Laterz!
