I got burned pretty bad using Western Union. It was back in the early days of ebay scamming when I thought everyone was as honest as I am. Would never have thought somebody would just rip you off like that. I learned the hard way ($1000) and won't make that same mistake again. The sad thing is you can't really do anything about it. I filed a complaint with ebay and even filed a complaint with the national fraud organization. I sent in all the emails that were sent back and forth, the western union receipt, the address, phone number, and email of the person that ripped me off. A full description of what happened. Nothing happened for about 3 months so I finally called the national fraud people and asked them what they planned on doing about it and their answer was NOTHING. They said they wouldn't even pursue it unless the same scam happened repeatedly in a short period of time. A lot of help they were.
