They don't list the field like they used to. Sucks because it kills the anticipation

Shaw and Archer are there, probably Earl. Can't say if Fedor or SVB are in. Hohman and Imonen usually play. Bunch of Northeast shortstops.

Thursday 8/29 2pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8pm
Friday starts 10 am
Saturday starts 10am
Sunday think it starts later, maybe noon.

Sunday is 11am, I think. Sunday matches have been on odd numbers where the other 3 days are on evens.

Hard to get excited because the players list isn't published anymore.

I'm gonna go to be a bracket filler if they get a no show...which usually happens.
 
I'm surprised at no Earl, Jeremy Sossei, Lukas Varner and other top players in the area not making this. Hell, I had thought Dechaine would have played in this considering he wants to make a comeback.

Seems like these 2 bigger tournaments wouldn't schedule an overlap. Things happen.
 
I’m only being a troll for bringing it up. But I do still wonder if this means someone put in the effort to have this event sanctioned with the WPA.

Dechaine is lifetime banned from Joss....
Earl is hit or miss.
Sossei is probably coming.

i don't think earl has been back since that argument and forfeit against the shortstop thai name guy, so he may be banned too. was maybe 2 years ago.

No he played in one a year back and was complaining to me about him not playing correctly.
 
I got into the Turning Stone Classic pool tournament

6th on waiting list
11 no showed out of 128
Holiday weekend....people sign up a long time in advance
Shaw, Archer, Immonen, Morris, Hewitt, Hohman, M O high ranked Europe....and the rest of the usual suspects from the tour.
