I'm in town for the week visiting my lady and I'm trying to find out where the good weekly tournaments are for tonight and tomorrow night.

I'd also be interested in purchasing a cue for under $100 like a player's sneaky, etc. so I have something to play with. Anyone got anything for sale or know of a pro shop around here that carries players/action?

You can probably find a stick over at Austin Billiard Supply on Anderson lane or A-TEX Billiards on Burnet Road. Tournies? None I know of unless you take the donkey up on his generous offer:smile:
 
There is also a good weekly tournament at Clicks South on Oltorf on Sundays.

Alternates between 8 and 9-ball every Sunday at 7.

Race to 5 on winners/ 4 on losers. Alternating Break.

Bar matches %50 of pot-- sometimes more.

$7 entry fee.

Clicks South is also having their first monthly tournament Nov. 28th and 29th (fri-sat).

There should be more to come every month

9 ball -- 3 foul rule in effect -- Race to 7/5 (tentatively) -- Alternating Break

I'm pretty sure this will be %100 payout -- no green fees

$50 entry fee.
