Hawkins secret?

"After the Matthew Stevens match in the second round I decided to go out and have a few beers, it helped me sleep, it helped me relax. Perhaps that's the secret, go out and get drunk before every match! I didn't get drunk, just a few beers. But tonight I'll be a little bit more than merry I should imagine."

Always thought this would be better played somewhere like Perth..or Melbourne etc.,

Is snooker bigger in Bendingo?:)
