What a CUE! I ordered a J/B to match my current playing cue (Richard Black) from Andy. And he made one hell of a matching J/B!!!!

I'll let the pics speak for themselves!

That is one fine looking Gilbert J/B! I've got a custom 8 point J/B on order from him that I'll post pics of as soon as it gets in! How does the gilbert play?

Also, is that an ivory joint?

This thing hits like a frickin' cannon! Probably the best breaking cue I've ever had. I want to put a Moori on the second shaft, but the cue plays GREAT with the water buffalow tips. (Just a bit hard for my taste)

I wasn't sure about the water buffalo tip at first (thinking that phenolic would be better for breaking), but WB adds a layer of control that phenolic can't compete with! I'll time some break speeds this weekend, but I'd be surprised if there is any loss of speed. It is balanced just right, and the shaft/tip/ferrule combo is AMAZING. Andy really understands how cues should play!

The joint isn't ivory, but it looks pretty close, eh! I gotta say, I haven't been this happy with a cue in a LONG time!!

Just wondering, why didn't you have Richard Black build your matching cue?
I asked him to make it, but he doesn't make Jump/Break cues.
