Az Classic Tour 1st leg

Chef? Chef?? Hell, he's a chef, a bar owner, a league operator, a journalist, a webmaster, a graphic designer, a tournament director, a pool player, a golfer, and a pretty okay guy to top it all off! Did I leave anything out? ;)

You did a good job listing most of Ron's credentials but you may have left one fun one out: smart alec! And of course I mean that in a complimentary way.

Sorry to miss out on Wednesday night but I will see you guys this weekend.

Ray,

You of all people need to be there for the player"s meeting (at 10). You play in a lot of these events, therefore, your voice needs to be heard as far as some of the rules being implemented. If you can't make it, we understand. Give Jimmy or I a call and we will let you know what we will be covering (if your interested). See you sat.

Dennis

See you all bright and early tomorrow. For anyone interested, we may try to put some results up from various matches throughout the tourney.

Yes Jimmy, you left out one thing. Ron is the main reason pool is alive
and flourishing in Arizona. You and Dennis are another. Kudos to all of
you. Wishing you great success with your new tour!

Thanks a lot. That's a real compliment coming from you.

Dennis and I haven't done anything yet though. We'll see how tomorrow goes. I'm optimistic. :)

For anyone who is playing this weekend, I just wanted to point out that there was a mistake on the azpoolscene.com website. The site lists this weekend's tournament as a race to 8 on the winner's side, and race 7 on the loser's side.

I apologize for barely catching this on the night before the tournament, but it is going to be a race to 9 on both sides, unless we have a turnout that is large enough that we have to race to 8 on the loser's side in the interest of time. That decision will be made before play starts, once we see the size of the field. We won't change the race on anyone mid-tournament so, once that decision is made, it will be final. :)

I apologize for the mistake.
