Hey guys,

Pool Table Magic in Windsor Locks CT is hosting an AZ get together on July 18th. I haven't seen any mention of it here so I thought I would start a thread to let everyone know about it.

For those of you who don't know Mark Kulungian, he is the owner of PTM. He is one of the formost collectors of billiard cues in this country and specializes in antique billiards memorabilia. He has a large collection of custom and collectible cues. I have heard that his collection may be on display at the meet and greet so here is a chance to see some exciting stuff not ordinarily available to view.

Add this to the fact that he has a very nice clean room with well kept equipment and it should be a recipe for a great time.

So who's planning on attending?

I haven't heard anything of this get together, but there is about an 80% chance I'll attend the tourney that day. Sounds like even more fun now!

Tournament info will be posted today in the tourney section...

Joe

I have had the tourney posted in the tourney section for some time now.

In addition to the fine tournament that Kev will be running, there will be cues and cases for sale. As always the space is free, and open to any dealer / collectoir that would like to display.

There are quite a few cuemakers that are looking to attend, Mike Morgan, Paul Rubino, Fanelli, Migliore, Brianna and others.. and many collectors. I will say that I know that these cuemakers will be bringing some stuff not seen before, from both the collecting aspect as well as their cues.

We will hold a few open discussions on ID'ing Bushka's and Botis, and showing some of the best older cues such as those and Paradise, Palmers, etc..

Of course the food is always top notch as are the staff and the bar keeps.. plenty of full service in the food and drink area.

If we have enough people in on Friday PM, we will do a little something...

Looks like I'll be attending the get together, but I won't be playing in the tournament. I''l have copies of my book available if annyone is interested. See you there.

The first get together I went to, in Chelmsford, I played in the tournament and really didn't socialize, that much. I'm looking forward to being, more relaxed, this time. I get a little to competative, when I'm playing.

See you all on Saturday.

NICE! Now I can finally get a copy of your book!

Pool Table Magic is one of my favorite places. I do have an existing commitment, but I'll try to attend the Meet & Greet this Saturday.

Hello Guys,

My name is Jason, I don't post too much, but I come on and read the posts a few times a week. I'm a good friend of Guycrunch and Joe Callaluca. I will be driving down from MA with Joe C. to play in the tournament and too meet some of you. Guy says the room is fantastic and I've been looking forward to seeing it. I'll see you there Tom and I'm glad to see your not playing, nothing personal. For anyone who hasn't got the book I've read it and it's certainly worth the money. For those who don't know, he put up the cash and self-published the book. Thats a hell of a nut, and it would be great to see the pool community get behind a great player and person and get themselves a copy.

Looking forward too it.

Pool Table Magic is a very nice pool room and very friendly people... I go there to practice few times a week.

Too bad... I don't think I can make it this Saturday. I am probably playing at the JPNewt event in Jersey :(

Just a bump to remind everyone about this event.

Does anyone know who is confirmed as far as dealers/makers?
