AZ members in or familiar with Vegas

thanks for all of the input.It looks like I lost out to the wife and a few others and South point resort looks like the place I will be staying, they had a great package deal and for the 485 price difference it looks like we can outrun the cab fee, renting a car for the week is only $50 more but i don't want to get Beibered while I am down there consuming adult beverages. My goal this trip is to hit the pool rooms(didn't do it last time), and if we just want to stay in for the night it looks like this place gives us a few options.

For those in the area that would like to meet up when I am there, I will re-post on this thread before we head out. I am not sure of the whole schedule till we get there, but I like to play for anything friendly from an ice-cream sandwich to $50 a rack. If you want to BS I buy drinks also. Long walks on the beach is cool and........just kidding, looking forward to putting some faces to the screen name.

P.S. If anyone has some must do's while we are there please post, we should have a few day's of down time.

Safest way to Mickey's is:

Go East on East Silverado Ranch to Eastern.

Turn left on Eastern (going North) and follow Eastern to Warm Springs. Mickey's is in the plaza on the Southeastern corner.

You may also go North on LV Blvd and turn right on Warm Springs. Mileage is about the same. May actually be faster as there are a plethora of traffic lights on Eastern.

The time has finally arrived!!! Leaving in a couple hours to catch the plane. Schedule is still up in the air, I will know more after the LO and captains meeting, hope to meet a few members while I am out there.

Have fun! and watch out for the EDC crowd. they get SUPER rowdy. Just avoid the downtown area and speedway areas and you should be fine :-) :thumbup:
