Edwin was kind enough to send me some photo's of the work in progress. I thought I would share them with you all.

Featured inlay is reminiscent of Dieckman's stuff
(or is it the other way around?). Love it! Thanks.

I said the same thing all so ..copy rights ..

Kokopeli is an ancient trickster, fertility, and rain god, a sort of southwest American version of the Green Man. In the spring this little figure with the hunched back plays his flute and encourages the rain to turn the desert hills green once again. The copy right to this little guy go back several thousand years guys. I do like Mr. Diekmans work also.

Whew!! Glad I didn't go with the Kokopelli idea with my cue!! (And I did consider it. ) I love my 'hearts' and I adore your 'kokopelli's'! Somehow, I get the feeling that the Kokopelli is very appropriate for you...Lol. ;) Very, very cool cue, Purdman! Edwin did you right, that's for sure!! :D

And I just adore your "Captive Hearts", a certain kind of feeling envelopes the artist to come up with such.

Don, I'm glad that you tuned-in on the composition and found the reason for the blues and the greens. The 4th picture though is a computer superimposed Kokopelli when I wanted to just show how Koko will look inside the inlay. I still haven't decided at the time as to what direction he'll face. I decided to do him facing the other direction as that's where the sun rises (cue pointing North).

Wow, Edwin! I take that as a tremendous compliment!! I think the cue, visually, has a very nice 'flow'. Likewise, there is an equally nice 'flow' with Purdman's new cue.....a job very well done! I like cues with simpler design elements, as a rule. Less can be more, if you know what I mean.;)
