I'm gonna be in KC this weekend and was gonna stop in Side Pockets on Olden.

Anyone feel like playing? Poolfire, you off work?

Sounds like fun, I'm in KC, I'm not a very good player, maybe you can give me some pointers. I'll buy you a few beers. :thumbup:

Tell ya what, I'm no top player either. I was thinking that Fri afternoon might be a good time to just hit some, for those interested...

Which one? I am not from KC but been to all side pockets. I will be driving from Wichita to STL and KC is a good place to take a break. I will have to see what the time allows.
 
shooters....

your best bet is shooters in olathe. 10.00 tourney, they open the tables for that (no quarters). they have 30- 60 players every fri night. they have the tables open, so you can "bang them around" when youre not playing or out of the tourney.

there are ball bangers ANYONE can beat, and players you cant....david matlock, mike banks, jr. etc....its the luck of the draw.....


but tell me this? (this is how i look at it). how can you play or gamble with good players and play 5.00 a set? (the tourney is double elimination).

we usually have several az'rs there, myself, thecoats, ibuycues, and others....the tourney starts about 8:30.

Bob b- I know about the Shooters tourney, but don't know if I can get away for that long. It's definitely a great suggestion, if I can get away...

topgun09- I usually hit the Side Pockets on oldham, in Lees Summit

Friday I will be at SidePockets in Blue Springs all day. I am another regular at shooters on friday nights but have to work at the one in blue springs friday during the day and the KC Rated 9 Ball Tour stop is there on Saturday so will be hanging around and just hitting balls most of the afternoon and night on saturday. Stop in and look me up if you want. Just ask any of the employees for me and they will know where I am.

eric, wont be able to play friday......saturday i work....sunday will be the only open day that i can hit em......someone should be up there....wish i could though... have a safe trip and if something changes i will let you know..

This goes out to everyone else who is going to come out, you are more than welcome to come. Chin0 has the 1st round! That's the only rule, I get the 1st round and lets have a great time. lol At the very least, let me be a good host and show you some hospitality brother!

Thanks for the heads up, jjn. Blue Springs is near my sister-in-laws house, so that might be a possibility.

I'd still love to play in the Fri nite Shooters tourney. I hope family understands that Pool can sometimes trump family...:sorry:

Eric, I was actually shooting at the pool hall today. I didn't know you were already here in KC. I'd have invited you. Haha, I have three fingers left on my shooting hand, two broken knuckles aint gonna stop me. It is messing with me a little but not much, but break wise, it stings a little everytime I break. Give me a call brother, I'll be off all day tomorrow. I will have to be at my house around 2-3pm due to a plumber coming to check out this leak, but other than that, I am free all day.
