Kamikaze is pretty much like Kamui without the the high overhead. Hardness is shifted a level, so Kamikaze hard is like Kamui medium, their medium is like a Kamui soft, etc. kamikaze super soft is really soft and doesn’t last well. Fortunately they don’t cost much if you install them yourself.

Way back when I did play quite often I used Le Pro tips because a friend recommended them to me and I really enjoyed how well they played .
After a 20 year break from the game I'm back playing again and a newly acquired cue was in need of a new tip so I bought some milk duds which I liked as well .
Then a friend suggested a Techno dud and I enjoy using it more than the milk duds for whatever reason .
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the HOW tips

I had a Kamui Black Soft on one of my shafts, I wasn't amazed. It didn't last very long and the black base made it hard to see when the tip was worn out. To be honest, although I am liking my new Le Pro, I don't think I'm going to try a tip and have some sort of epiphany. I've had a couple of Ultraskin Mediums, I think they had a crisp hit which I liked a lot. That feedback seems to help me play a more delicate, finesse game.

I would of tried a harder Kamui. I liked LePro's for many years, the issue i find with them is they are incredibly inconsistent. You have a golden one now but the next one's probably going to be shit. I use to have to change 3-4 tips to find a good one.

Well BBB I've learned what I figured all along is no one is happy with anything they try ha ha
The old tried and true is boring but it still works to a degree , since they aren't running rack after rack it's easy to fault a tip because after it it hits the cue ball and it couldn't be the fault or a miss judgment of the angle or condition of the cloth or balls being used .
Along with each cue if made from carbon fibre or wood will hit differently depending on the make up of each tip my suggestion is to contact a representative who is selling them and ask for what they think would work best for your cue and playing style and whatever game you play most often .
Just some tongue and cheek thoughts from a old pool player ha ha
I wonder how many heads are about ready to explode now after reading this if anyone reads it at all ?
