I think the trick is to put yourself in a position where you don't have to use extreme english or extreme masse. I know that when I miscue it is my fault not the chalks fault. IMO
If you are playing your patterns well, you should rarely ever need extreme english. Plus most people I see use draw way too much. Try playing a few hours without draw. You will be surprised at what you can do without ever using low.
