Balance and pool

I always thought that when I did not hit the ob where I was aiming, this was due to either a stroke glitch or a cb error. After not playing for a week, I found that I was losing my balance ever so slightly at crucial times. It was pretty minute, but enough to make me miss the shot.

I cannot walk flat footed, rather on the balls of my feet, call me clumbsy:cool:  but yet had been shooting flat footed. Wonders never cease.

Anybody else ever noticed anything like this?

I see a lot of players just step up to the table and shoot, not even thinking of their stance, adjusting their stance to what the shot requires, and trying to balance themselves when they aren't in a comfortable stance and MISS!!!

I've noticed a lot of pros get over a ball and then if they don't feel 100%, they get up off the ball and then start all over. Most of us don't do that. Once we get down, ready or not, we take the shot.
