This might have been discussed already, but I did a search and couldn't find much on it.
I have 314~2 on my Schuler 240 that I have been using for about 7 months exclusively. I just got my custom Schuler back from having it extended to 30". The butt is the lowest weight it can be.
Because of the added length, the weight is differently located plus its a little heavy anyhow because of the material and the 314~2 shafts being so light. The balance is totally different which is to be expected because of the changes.
With the different balance point, I don't feel comfortable and it seems like I'm hitting the ball harder. I understand that adjustments will take time.
Sorry it took awhile to get to the question, but I wanted to give an explanation for the questions.
I'm wondering how much the balance point affected others that changed their shafts from the one made for their cue to a LD shaft?
Did the change in the balance point affect your game enough to make you go back to your old shaft?
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
