Ball Cleaner Recommendations

I've built a ball cleaner based on the input from this forum and it works really well (auto polisher mounted upside down in a 5 gal. bucket). I'm using Pledge spray wax to clean and polish the balls and it seems to be working okay. But now I'm wondering what other people are using to clean and polish their pool balls and if there is anything better. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I used Pledge for many years but found that Aramith ball cleaner / polish does a much better job. You have to clean first, wait a few minutes for a haze to form onthe balls and then polish.

Try to use a "cleaning" cloth and a seperate "polishing" cloth. You will get a fantastic shine.

For cleaning I use the white terry cloth towels from Home Depot.
For polishing I bought artifical lamb's wool from JoAnn fabric.

I assume that your balls are exposed in the bucket and the buffer in on the bottom. Consider a stationary pad on top. This helps the balls rotate. I make the stationary pad out of 1/4" plywood and glue the polishing pad to the board. The cleaning cloth can also be made this way.
