Ball finishes

Curious why different sets stay cleaner longer. What's in a finish?
I have:

Centennials(from 1998).... get dirty quickly.
Super Aramith Pro.....stay clean for a decent amount of time
Aramith Tournament(just bought these)...they are a chalk dust magnet. Played 1 rack and they are very dusty.

regarding the aramiths, have the newest set been cleaned? Could it be static electricity?

I did run them through the BallStar cleaner. I'll do that a few times. The balls are collecting dust like I've never experienced. There were never any issues using the Centennials or Super Pros. Anyway, thanks for your reply.
