I am practicing end rail to end rail hits using the dead ball system. As an example, with a cue ball position of 2 (end rail) and shooting in front of diamond 1 (opposite end rail) I would expect my 4th rail hit point to be at diamond 2. When I shoot from the above cue ball position (2) with a harder hit the cue balls 4th rail track is spot on. However when I shoot with a softer stroke the cue ball seems to be short on its 4th rail track 1/4diamond to sometimes 1/2iamond. As the speed of the ball slows even more the ball drifts left of 2nd diamond. Of course shooting from the other end rail the cue ball drifts to the right with solter stroke
Is this "roll off effect" or does the table need adjustment?????
I hope all this makes sense to you.
Thanks
