The event was a great success. Charlie Williams, Cindy Lee, & James West of Dragon Promotions did a super job from beginning to end. Jeff Scott (owner of Bank Shot Billiards) has a very nice place, a dedicated staff, and treated all of the players like kings for the entire week. Shane did a great job of posting the results online, and was still able to operate his pro shop. John Speidel was onhand working day and night to repair our cues. John is THE BEST!!! Shane, thanks for all your help and thanks again for helping me out with the new shaft. I will be posting something very in depth on the occurrences of the week in another post (possibly tomorrow).

My two matches were forgettable to say the least. I played Frank Alvarez in the first round and at one point I was up 4-0, 5-1, 6-2, then my medication wore off and I began to struggle. With what I have, it happens. My second match was horrible, that is all I will say about it. I wasn't feeling well at all and my tremors were so bad that I had no business with a cue in my hand. I believe with a little bit of fine tuning I can get back to shooting better. I did not prepare at all for this tournament and was not even going to play until Frank Alvarez changed my mind at the last minute. All in all, I had a great time playing and may I say that the tournament was very well run.

I was able to meet up with Hillbilly Charlie Bryant, Tonyc (Tony Crosby),Timberly, Deadstroke32 (too bad we couldn't play some, hope your wife is feeling better), The man, the myth, the legend known as Fast Larry (who may I say was a perfect gentleman to everybody, and was more than willing to entertain people with his trick shots. I have read some of the ugly things written to and about Larry concerning his participation in this event, and all I can say is that the man I met was very nice.)

I also met the lovely Marissa Yi. She is a very beautiful lady and cool to hang out with. I spent a lot of time this week with friends such as John Schmidt, John DiToro, Tommy Kennedy, Ronnie Parks, Danny Basavich, Mike Staubes, Tony Robles, STan Shuffet, Paul Potier,Tom Potter, & Steve Lillis. I also picked on Ralf Souquet relentlessly because I can get away with it.

The best matches of the week were John Schmidt Vs Paul Potier (went hill-hill) with John winning finally. Mike Davis Vs Thorsten Hohman was excellent as well. Johnny won the tournament against Mike Davis and was gracious in victory. I was able to meet most of Johnny's family, including his sister, His Dad and his Mom. They are very nice people.

Today I accompanied John Schmidt on a golf outing with Shane Sinnot and Jeff Scott which was a lot of fun. John just dropped me off at home. I had a great time and I cannot wait for next year.
