bar box/mud ball question

1st time AZer here. Some background on me... I do tables for a job, been doing it for about a year professionally. I owned a little 8 table room, but it's in storage now, looking for a better bigger location. Nuff about me.

My question is... is there a way to alter a bar box built for the big cue ball so it can return the magnetic ball. The one I'm talking about is a Valley.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Dave Whitssell is letting me learn how to build cues in his shop in Santee. I have 2 Dufferin conversions in paint, a full-splice 4 pointer waiting for the next turn and a couple of others in the works. Sure is fun learning!

Any way, thank you for any help.

I'm lost as to your question, ALL Valley tables will return any of the magnetic cue balls. All Valley tables have the magnets mounted inside them in the cue ball return track to alter the course of the magnetic cue balls.

theres a arm to the left, at the top is a 1/2 bolts. The magnet is hard to see. Loosen the bolt and that how you make your adjustment. Take it completely off if you want to check to see if the magnet is still there.
