Just got the titlist conversion from Jim Barkley today, the player was already in my collection. I let Jim Barkley (Barkley Cues, Joplin, Missouri) convert the titlist blank as he felt it should be done, I was looking for the old school look for the titlist. I asked Jim to place the blank in storage after each cut so the blank would become as stable as possible. Antique canvas (old imported) phenolic material was used in the butt section and joint section, the material had its own patina. The wrap is double pressed/polished. The shaft has a slight euro-taper. The short ferrule was used as in earlier period cues. Jim converted the titlist with deflection/squirt in mind. The cue hits and moves the cue ball as I expected, just super. The titlist blank was purchased from "Toledo Joe" Thomas in 2008, really a nice straight blank to build from. Jim added the titlist decal for more old school. The J/P's are leather/phenolic. The bumper is leather.
The player cue is made of maple, ebony and pink ivory. Italian stack leather wrap. All white is ivory, also has silver inlays. Thanks to Jim for the fine conversion.
