Barry's work gets better everytime is see his cues. I have played with three of his cues and the all played very well.

Matthew, my wife has a beautiful Cameron cue which she 'borrowed' from me and refuses to give back. The workmanship is superb and she prefers the hit to her old Pechauer Pro or Layani.

The photo doesn't do it justice. It's a bocote forearm, ebony points, bocote butt sleeve. The diamond inlays are ivory. It's a wood to wood joint, with black phenolic joint collars and a radial joint pin. The joint is tight for a good solid fit. The ferrule is linen based melamine with Moori tip. The veneers at the points are burnt orange and the rings are also burnt orange to match.

I honestly don't think you could go wrong with one of Barry's cues.

The cue on e-bay will not sell for under $150 and not the 100 it's at now, so don't worry about it cause it's out of your price range. How much allowance do you get now??

JimBo, that might be true but it is still cruel! ;)

I owned and played with one of Barry's cues that he built esp for me. I loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was that I had a $4000 cue ordered and was getting cue poor!

Hit is great if you like a solid hit, which I do. Workmanship on my cue was very good. I've seen cues he's built since then, and it gets better all the time.

Later,
Bob
