Can someone send me Barry's email please?
My friend JIMBO who has his own forum now "www.jimboarmy.com" (check it out) helped me get on Barry's list years ago - and that was the only contact I had with him. I haven't emailed him since (don't want to bug anyone....except Steve Klein ---- I like harassing Steve).
Anyhow, I just wanted to shoot him a quick email and see where I was on his list.
And NO - i'm not buying to re-sale, I won't give up my spot on his list, etc, etc (crazy, but I've been asked these questions before---I've been waiting too long...too patiently for that).
Ok, that is all.
Please PM me.
A big thanks in advance.
Oh - and just to make this interesting. Here is the type of cue I want Barry to make me.
I've been wanting a Szamboti Gambler since the beginning.
4 points with veneers. An Ivory Club, Diamond, Heart, and Spade inlays in each point (1 each). Nice ringwork above the wrap. Irish linen wrap (white w/ green specs), Ebony butt with some more dice/card stuff...but I've thought I would actually like some MOP barbells with ivory dice on each end. That would be cool and different. I don't think Barry has done that so don't steal it anyone!
I would also like some veneered ivory rectangles intertwined with those barbells. One of them would say "MADE BY B. SZAMBOTI" The other would say, "FOR KEELAN" (which is my daughter's name, who will eventually get the cue...and use it after she has finished her medical degree and is competing the women's 9 ball championship just for giggles....a father can dream, right?).
Oh, and until my daughter uses it I will play with it of course so I have to order at least 6 shafts. 2 13mm, 2 12.75, and 2 12.50 cues, all with short ivory ferrules and moori tips.
So....this cue will be the dead nuts whenever he gets around to it. I've been waiting patiently and will continue to wait. I'm just glad to be on the list and wanted to check in with the man.
Thanks ya'll.
P.S. I would just check on Jimbo's forum since Jim hooked me up in the first place....but for whatever reason I can't log into his forum from work.
