Basavich vs. Farrell LIVE 4:00 PM

You couldn't give that dvd away

Not only was that match fast it was terrible. Danny kept wondering if Basavich was a 1p player. I think he got his answer. NO.
Neither player played well. The best thing about this one was DeLibertos comments with Incardona. I hope they get better but it was fun.

Sure like to know how Alan Hopkins lost to Danny B in the 2nd round. I just saw Alan play a few weeks ago and he was hittin' em pretty decent. Maybe Danny got some old school advice and stalled in the TV match in hopes of robbing one of us at a later date. Might work. Truth is, I think the TV table just plays real tough and gets players rattled if they don't hit a gear right away. I haven't seen anyone yet play their best game (maybe Parica), but I'm lovin' every minute of it anyway.

To err is human, to play on air is divine.

I also thought the same thing regarding Alan Hopkins loosing to Danny B. after watching Danny B. play Jamie on BCN. It could be the TV table and lighting affects the players somewhat. Even in the 10 ball ring game, many of the top players didn't play well when they had the opportunity. Schmidt and Saez can play much better than they showed in that ring game. Archer played well considering his late arrival and not being able to warm up properly. All in all, this is a great event with so many games and players. I really want to thank Gregg Sullivan and his crew for promoting this great event. We are very fortunate to be able to see it on the internet also! I really enjoy watching the complete, unedited match as it's presented online!
