Basic List of Spots!

Hate to sound rude, but please can we keep this thread on topic on ACTUAL common spots so that new players and board members can have this as easy reference without wading through a bunch of inside jokes that don't deal with the topic at hand?

I'll amend the list with some of those uwate, but for the most part I am looking for *basic/common* spots with terms so that that they are clearly explained... things like opposite hand or shooting behind the back can all be grouped with "other", but I'll amend the main post when I have a bit more time and whatnot(things like odds and only getting X pockets, ect are good).
 
I ran a few Snooker tourneys in Australia with a new handicap format...if your opponent is about 15 pts better than you ...he cannot use the black ball for 7 points...it is only worth 1! If the player is about 30 pts better , he cannot use the pink (6) or black (7)...they are only worth 1 point each.
This makes a very good way to gamble and even up the matches.
