So why will the bb stream work on a laptop but sucks ass on an ipad?

Not sure...it streams fine on my iPad...could be wireless speed or connection strength
Having the same issue. The stream works perfectly tonight on a PC with an HDMI cable out to flat screen TV. I tried the iPad to test it out and the stream freezes every few minutes. We have two iPads in the house and I tried the other one and same issue. I always assumed in order for the WPBLTV to properly stream to iOS a proper app would be needed. It remains to be seen if this is true but tonight the stream was unwatchable on the iPad, at least for me. Worked flawlessly on the PC however.
I have a huge pipe so wtf. Anyway works fine on pc and laptop. Not watchable on the IPad though.
Got plenty bandwidth here and Peach looks awesome on the big screen via PC. Turned the iPad off as it is unwatchable
