BCA ACS "Not really quiet"

Some of the forums, publication and Pool web sites are relatively quiet on the issue of BCA ACS. This made me think that people were done with the issues. In my region we went BCA it was suppose to be over after the vote, that’s why a vote. Those who did not like the decision left the association to do acs. I was sadden to see people rupture a good thing. They plainly abandon the players and the association for a Profit VS non-profit notion putting that notion first and players second. Not caring that a wedge is created between players.. I normally view that as sour grapes, but local ACS folks have been going around making erroneous and malicious statements. They are trying to bring down BCA leagues. Putting down Mark Griffin and the BCA pool Leagues, for no good reason. That is no class at all. They are saying things like " Mark Griffin is a crook", He really has no money and he needs the BCA to make a living" " A profit organization will cheat you out of your money" BCA Pool Leagues does not exist" " The BCA has no players" an ACS Board member was heard saying that the Acs is planning on taking over the time slot of the BCA in Vegas” these and other statements are being used as a recruitment tools to persuade people, I should say preying on people, who don't know what is going on. I received a call from a friend across town and he told me how acs supporters put pressure on them to only have them in the location and they would not support dual sanctioning with BCA. This is even after ACS changed their Policy. Any reasonable person can't think that this is ok, but these ACS people do. That mentality is what I am mainly targeting. Is this trend happening else where? Will this spitefulness continue….

These angry people are ruining pool. I feel like fighting back, my wife said don't bother, “don’t put energy on them” good advice, but its not the ACS people I am most concerned about, it’s the unknowing player who is vulnerable to that deception.

I know in the next few weeks in some areas they are going to be voting taking place on whether to continue BCA. I hope people from really look closely at the BCAPool Leagues, it is really really way OK.....

I have to agree with you Andrew, The folks over at the ACS are a real piece of work. They are just plain liars. That covers it. They are so desperate that they will go to all extremes to steal the show. For the most part, the players do not know the real side of these ACS board of directors. In some cases, in the home towns of the principals of the ACS, they are not respected and known for using questionable tactives. I have not heard as of yet, but really wonder what the states of TX, IN, IL, WI have decided to do. I understand from post's on this board that so far, the states of AZ, WA, IA and a few others HAVE committed to the BCA! At least they know what is good for the sport. I have not heard of any conquests from the ACS on states they have obtained. Angry people is correct too, they are miserable, thet will eventually be feuming when their orginization falls a part in which it will.
Mark Griffin has the funds to finance his business, the ACS will be taking from their players as these people have done for yeras in their own states.

Players and room owners beware! They are true wolves in sheep clothing.
