Hey I was just wondering when they make entrees into the hall of fame. Is it like an annual thing? Or is it just when they feel like putting someone up. Is there a process to it like nominations?

Random question I know...
 
They go the process anually. There is a player category and there is a meritorious category. Last year noone was nominated for the meritorious category. Earl was the player inductee.
 
i always wondered the same thing, Good Question and Thread. So when do you guys think Allison and Karen will be in the HOF.?
 
One of the qualifiers for being nominated is to be "in the game" or contributing to the sport for either 20 or 25 years. I think that's the only reason that Archer hasn't been nominated. Last year Allen Hopkins and Maurice Daly were nominated with Earl.

I think this year they are starting a new nomination process that includes the current members of the HOF instead of nominations from the industry. I'm not 100% sure about that though.
 
I asked because I love what the hall of fame does. As i look through it I obviously dont remember these people from a long time ago, but they werent forgotten. And now I can read about how they helped the game.

Obviously Mosconi and some people didnt need that for them never to be forgotten...but some people today do, and shouldnt be forgotten. So I was wondering when the next induction would be.

(I was exstatic when Mike Massey was inducted, not like he will ever be forgotten) ;)
