Coincidentally I am having that problem right now. Now the the following I cannot believe but did laugh my ass off. My son got info from a friend of his that his contraption he handed me really works for groundhogs or moles or whatever. It is a cylinder with batteries that send out a high pitch sound every 30 seconds. You pound this into the ground up to the top and turn the switch on. It is suppose to drive them away I thought. A few days later I notice the damn gopher has a pile of dirt around the damn thing. Laughed my ass off, what a rip off right. A couple of days later the pile of dirt is 3 times a big around the thing. I am still laughing but my son isn't it.
I still have hope, for he must be doing that for some reason, like driving him crazy? I hope. At least I didn't buy the damn thing.
To keep this pool related, I am going to sit there tomorrow with a pool cue at the ready. lol

They are tuff little bastards. You need to take the pool cue out to beat him in the head after you shoot him 4 times. I used a shovel. It is unbelievable man. Do you know that when you are trying to kill something with a shovel, you hit it as hard as you can. Beating something to death ain't easy.

My friend ran over one with a four wheeler last year. It made it over to it's hole. Now there is a ground hog pulling himself around with it's front feet. That is how hard they are to kill.
