BCA League Fee for Teams

Curious does anybody know the fees you are paying to play in the teams 8 ball weekly league in your hometown to qualify for Las Vegas? I heard it was $55 each year then someone said roughly 30-40% of the weekly goes to the person running the area BCA leagues. I asked should the numbers all be shown for everyone to see and can they just charge whatever they want? For many years I've seen a teams win the season and get $2000 and the playoffs and get $1000 which is a total of $3000/5 players so roughly $600 each but they had to pay $250 all season with all the weeks. I've won it before and I'm like is this even worth playing? Is there a normal fee league operators should be taking?

BCA league operator can structure it however they want. In our league, the operator keeps 10%. The rest goes to pay the expenses for the teams going to Vegas. We typically have 7 teams with ~7 players per team. We pay $15 per night whether we play or not. We play 20 weeks over 6 months with a playoff at the end of the session... Then we repeat for the 2nd half of the year. That way, 2 teams get an all expense paid trip.

This seems like a better setup than what we have in our area. Over a decade ago I think we figured the league operator was making about $25,000-$30,000 for himself per year just doing that. He then wouldn't book the room or airfare just give money to the winning team.

Our league operator takes care of all the arrangements except for air. This year he is kicking in $1,000 for a women's team to go.
