BCA league question

We have a league in Bloomington, IN and this is the first session for this league and I am sort of helping the league operator. My team won the trip to Vegas to Nationals (I have been many times before, but my team has not)...it is a good league if you know anyone in the Indiana area looking for a league where you can take 1st and win an all expense paid trip to Vegas, pretty good deal.

On to my question, in your opinion is it more fair for everyone to base the standings in the league on rounds won (meaning you get a point for getting the highest total of balls per round and another point for the total overall, so 6 points total) or base it strictly on points only? Note there are handicaps taken into consideration.

I have played in the bca and vnea many times and i think it is only fair to get points for rounds won because of the handicap. I dont think you should be completely penalized for having to spot alot of balls.
