I was there today, It wasnt very busy, saw alot of champions walking around and in booths.
Best new thing I saw was the proto type Gold Crown 5, it will be released in Nov or oct if they are lucky, It has a retro look to it, I loved it. They did alot of devlopment on it to make it eaier for table mechnics to set it up, the pocket castings are old school looknig the side skirts have nice lines to them the rails are the same, What was the table before the GC? that kind how the pocket casting look like, its a great looking table, It wasnt set up to play on bcause the pockets didnt fit right, It also had very deep pockets, long shelfs-much deeper than any other GC I have seen, kinda like a diamond you can hise a ball deep in the pockets.
trade show was slow, mostly people with booths talking to each other, I didnt see people walking around with plastic bagss of paperwork, I sat in one booth for 2 hours and no one came in, I didnt see anyone writing orders, If I was a vendor I wouldnt spend the $$$ to set up a display at that show, I dont know how its going to survive. It costs big bucks to set up a booth-rent,hotel, travel, etc. for what to talk to people you know?
